Military medics provide medical care to wounded soldiers and support and proper care for them during evacuation to hospitals.
For qualified assistance to be provided on time, medics must have practical skills in first aid, anesthesia, and surgical interventions and know how to effectively organize medical service in combat and high-risk conditions, where every mistake can cost a soldier's life.
We spoke with the medics of the First Separate Special Purpose Brigade, named after Ivan Bohuna, the surgeon of the stabilization point and the head of the medical company, to learn about their important work.
